Open Cafés
A team of dedicated volunteers ensures the doors are open and the atmosphere is welcoming at the Open Café. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend free of charge and without prior registration. Snacks and beverages are available at cost price.
In addition to the German-language cafés, Open Cafés are also offered in a number of other languages. These provide families with the opportunity to connect in their native language, and children get to experience that language as part of their everyday environment.
Babybrunch / Brunch1plus
These events are designed for parents with children in their first year of life (Babybrunch) or between the ages of 1 and 3 (Brunch1plus). The gatherings are led by a qualified professional who offers support and advice on everyday life with a baby or toddler. Alongside the opportunity to exchange experiences with other parents, a freshly prepared brunch is provided.
Babybrunch unterwegs (Babybrunch on the Go)
Babybrunch unterwegs was developed as an alternative to Babybrunch during the pandemic. It offers parents with babies and toddlers a chance to connect with others in an outdoor setting. Families are invited to meet, go for a walk together (max. 3 households), and enjoy time outdoors.
Meeting point: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM in front of elkiko. We’ll provide you with a delicious snack bag to take along. The Babybrunch leader will be there and happy to support you. No registration is needed—just come by and please follow the current hygiene and distancing guidelines.

Schuki
Schuki, our schoolkids' club, offers creative activities and excursions for children in grades 1 through 6.
