Our group was founded in 2014 with the intention of promoting the Portuguese language in our families and encouraging speaking it. Pequenos Caranguejos is a family meeting point that aims to talk, read, sing, exchange ideas, and engage in many playful activities related to our mother tongue. At our meetings, we welcome children of all ages together with their families. Everyone is warmly welcome!
We are a self-managed and non-commercial group. The meetings are supported by mothers, fathers, and volunteers. We usually begin with a reading, music, and storytelling activity.
At each meeting, we also have a shared snack, to which every family is invited to bring something to nibble on.

Nosso grupo foi criado em 2014 com a intenção de promover, incentivar e manter a língua portuguesa como língua de herança. O Pequenos Caranguejos é um grupo de encontro de famílias, com o objetivo de falarmos, lermos, cantarmos, trocarmos ideias e fazermos muitas brincadeiras e atividades lúdicas relacionadas à nossa língua materna. Em nossos encontros acolhemos crianças de todas as idades juntamente com suas famílias. Todos são muito bem-vindos!
Somos um grupo autogerido e sem fins lucrativos. Os encontros são promovidos por mães, pais e voluntários.Geralmente iniciamos com uma atividade de leitura, músicas e contação de histórias.
Também fazemos um lanche compartilhado, para o qual cada família é convidada a trazer algo para juntos confraternizarmos
